Victory Report
We are finishing up the Victory Report, doing final proofing, and sending to the printer today. We should have it back in about a week and then will work quickly to get it processed for mail delivery. Also, with the Victory Report, we are sending everyone the Torch Newsletter also. We have done this the last several mailings and everyone seems to like the extra information – especially since it deals with issues that most preachers won’t touch.
Office
We have media visit the office here quite frequently and after being in the space here for fifteen years we decided it needed some sprucing up. The last several months we have torn down old shelving, patched up wear and tear in the sheet rock, tore out old carpeting (heavy rains and a tree that fell on the office two years ago had caused considerable damage to the interior though we did replace the roof right away thanks to local volunteers) and have repainted most of the offices. We still have quite a bit of work to do, but are we pleased with what we have accomplished so far and with a large part of the messy part done, we have put all of our computers and other electronic equipment back in their proper places. For a while we have had every thing cramped into one back room and sharing the space. We are starting to breath a sigh of relief. Thank you to members in the area who have helped donate paint and elbow grease.
