Today we are working on routine office work that normally occurs throughout the week: memberships, renewals, info packs, t-shirt orders, and always lots of correspondence and answering questions.
In addition the last couple of days we have been sorting through videos from the last six months. Today, we are working on deleting 2013 speeches that have already been edited and are in the process of being uploaded. This will free up space on the video computer. This isn’t a very exciting activity to report and is quite mundane and time consuming, but is a necessity.
Andrew has also been busy designing DVD menus for discs
We’re also pleased to be meeting with a new associate from the Harrison area and for those of you who volunteer at HQ, you’ll be meeting him soon also.
Other odds and ends for the week so far (again, not exciting, just necessary)
Painting continues in the office as we have been working to spruce it up.
We continue working out a few glitches in the new store, updating inventory, fixing forms, etc.
mowing grass here (5 acres worth)
weeding flower gardens
choosing exact location for dorm rooms (cabins) for the new school
making arrangements for a bulldozer to clear land
Preparing Victory Report and the Torch for mailing (basically stuffing thousands of envelopes)
cataloging clearance items for store
