Always dress in neat and clean clothes. remember, people will know who you are and your conduct and dress tells them the kind of person you are. Keep yourself well groomed, clean, odor free, teeth brushed with a neat hairstyle. Act as if you are a salesperson in a large department store. You many not be selling the latest fashions, but you are selling a message to our people. No one wants took hear a sales pitch from someone who is sloppy, dirty and smells bad. You don’t have to look as if you just stepped off the cover of Vogue or GQ, but you should pay careful attention to your appearance.
Language – Although swearing and using terms such as “nigger, gook, or spick” may seem humorous to some, it will not help us reach our goals. we re professionals and we should talk like it. Although we realize that profanity may roll off the tongue without notice, we should try to speak without it. Remember we are salesmen selling America’s most needed commodity – racial pride! Keep in mind that many people are offended when profanity is used. but no one is offended with a lack of profanity.
Your job is not the place for Klan recruitment. Your employer has the right to expect you and other employees to put in a full day of work. If someone wants to ask you about the Klan, make and appointment after work. Trying to recruit at work or wearing Klan tee-shirts at work could result in your dismissal. You need your job and we need our people working and not standing in the unemployment line. so remember, recruit after work.
We encourage you to educate yourself so that you will have some knowledge when talking with people. You don’t need to be a scholar, but it helps if you can back up your statements with facts and information.
Smile – Remember the salesman? The most important thin in reaching someone with our message is that they like you. No one is going to listen to you, no matter how good you look or how smart you are if they simply don’t like you. You should cultivate politeness and courtesy in your every activity.
Have a “Get to Know the Klan” get-together. Invite your friends over, have literature available for them to read and perhaps show one of our many videos.
Those who choose to actively spread word of The Knights must work very hard and be persistent. Recruiting is merely an extension of our desire to preserve our race, our heritage, our culture and our Christian values. Our everyday lives must reflect this desire. If it does not then our desire is only wishful thinking.
Too many people are consumed by wishful thinking. They wish that more people would listen to what we have to say. They wish that as an organization we had more influence in the direction our country is heading. They wish that today’s parents would have more concern about the future of their children. They wish that more young people would turn away from the anti- white propaganda that is shoved down their throat every day, and they wish our once great nation would throw off the evil and that our people would once again receive the blessings given to us by God. But that is all it is,
Wishful thinking!
They don’t really believe that we will ever win this conflict for our White brothers and sisters. Deep down inside their heart, in their innermost thoughts they don’t consider the very real possibility that we ~ actually do something to halt the flood of racial and spiritual destruction that is lapping upon the shores of America. Their “activity” in white separatist organizations is more of a hobby, something to ease their guilt while they watch their nation die!
For this reason we are delighted to be introduced to people like you. People who know that we ~ turn this country around. Our time is upon us, our window of opportunity is opening for us. And it will be the organized will of people like you who will push open the window wide enough for The Knights to triumphantly march through.
As Mr. Robb has stated many times, the most important tool that we have in our quest for victory is not our newspaper, is not great speeches or scholarly written informative articles. The greatest tool that we can utilize to reach our desired goals is love! We must truly love our people. For if we are unable to demonstrate that love for our country and our people then the people we are trying to reach will never listen to what we have to say. It’s all in our attitude. Attitude comes from within and affects how people see the world and those around them. They are like psychological filters that add meaning to everyday events and communication. People with positive (winning) attitudes look at life more favorably than those with a negative (losing) attitude They are happier, more productive and are better able to enjoy the good times and overcome the bad times that are a part of everyone’s life.
A negative attitude is a different story. People who have a losing attitude look on the dark side of life. They expect the worst and usually get it! People with a losing (negative) attitude are Down” more than they are “up.” As a rule, their energy level is low. They use so much energy preparing for bad things that they have little energy left for the things that will lead them to us~. A positive, winning attitude however is not something that is simply “put on” in the morning, but is something that must be acquired and built. And some people must work on building their winning attitude harder than perhaps others. A losing attitude is like a disease or parasite that has attached itself to the body. One dose of medicine does not bring the cure, the medicine must be taken everyday and sometimes several times a day.
To build a winning attitude in a person that is victim-‘ by the parasite of self-doubt, and the attitude of failure, a person needs to work on it everyday. Reading the Bible prayer, self-help books (Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude as an example) on a daily basis will begin to build the winning attitude that we need to build a national organization of winners that will be able to take a message of hope and deliverance to America. We must be careful who we have as friends and the kind of company we keep. If you spend your time with positive, upbeat goal orientated people -the kind of people we can call achievers, then we will develop the kind of mental imaging that will recreate a positive and winning attitude in our own minds. However, if we spend our time with miserable, unhappy people -losers –
we will only strengthen the spirit of failure until we become failures ourselves. With the ~ negative, losing attitude we will fail in our Klan recruitment, fail in our marriage and fail in life.
Remember, your life is what you!! make it. If you are a failure, it is because you made your self into a failure and only you can change it. It is true that events happen in our lives that we have no control over.- But we .4!!. have control over how we react and handle those events. We either let them destroy us or we can overcome them and achieve things that we thought were impossible. As a German philosopher once said, “That which does not kill me makes me stronger. ”
Attitudes can also be created in our minds. The mind is powerful. While we know that we have limitations, the simple fact is that most people are able to do so much more than they dare imagine! No where is this more evident than in attitude. You can actually think yourself into a positive frame of mind, despite everything that has happened to you. Countless people have willed themselves into successful lives simply by setting their mind to the task. They create a positive attitude and resist temptation to become depressed. They have actually built a strong foundation through literature, friends and faith in Christ, so when disappointment comes their way, it has no place to find root and create depression. By maintaining their winning attitude they actually remain open to the solutions that they need to solve their dilemma.
Your attitude toward life will affect your attitude toward the Klan, your fellow Klansmen and those you wish to recruit.
What exactly is a positive attitude toward life..! It means your psychological filter gives you a favorable outlook on life. When negative situations develop, you are able to handle them because you have created and built a natural immunity and will not be overcome by them. By the daily creation of a positive attitude you are also more receptive to positive ideas and will be able to recognize their value with a clear discernment from bad ideas. You ‘ll feel less stress and can devote your energies to reaching the goals you have established.
Your positive, winning attitude will in turn affect other people, and they will be more receptive to what you are saying. They will be able to feel the love you have for our race and homeland.
By reading positive books about self improvement, the Bible, biographies of successful people and keeping the company of positive, goal orientated people, you will become a person others like to be around. It is important that we are likable people and we should always test our liability .It just a matter of fact, people will not listen to a single thing you say if they, simply do not like you!
When you have a positive attitude toward life you’ll feel more confident about everything you do. The result will be an “I can” philosophy. This philosophy will give you an advantage when you tackle new projects. You will be able to bring those projects to completion and others will be excited about them as they work with you. Moreover, when a task gets difficult your positive attitude will allow you to persist until you succeed. When you don’t succeed to the degree you are after, a winning attitude lets you accept the temporary setback and you can learn from the situation so you can tackle the project and do better in the future.
Developing a Positive Attitude
A positive attitude is no accident. Developing and maintaining a winning attitude takes effort. Fortunately, a positive attitude is a long term asset that is available to anyone who seeks to claim it.
Good health is both a benefit of and a result of a positive attitude. If you get the proper amount of sleep, eat well and exercise regularly you will feet a general sense of well- being. This well-being will give you the energy to maintain your positive attitude despite the ups and downs in your life.
Consider for a minute the times you have found yourself in conflict with another person or depressed about a situation. You probably felt tired, stressed and in general poor spirits. When people don’t care for their physical, mental and spiritual health they find that they do not have the energy to maintain the all-important winning attitude.
Another practice that will help keep your attitude positive is to avoid abusing substances such as alcohol and tobacco. These may give you a temporary lift, but in the long run, they will have an unhealthy affect on your body and your attitude. It’s in your best interest to control their use.
Involvement also contributes to maintaining a positive, winning, “I can”, attitude. By being active you ’11 build strong relationships and gain the feeling of doing something good for society. You ’11 also become energized in a way that strengthens you. For an example of the great benefits a positive attitude will have, start by looking at your own example, you may be in an area where there is little or no membership, but because of your mental decision and acceptance to begin recruiting you begin to feel better about your self and the accomplishments you are going to achieve. Even the reading of these few words is causing many of you to already feel the affects of a positive attitude. You need to soak your mind in books and literature that will develop your winning attitude. The Apostle Paul in the Bible says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me, ” Phil. 4: 13. Make no mistake about the importance of our mission to send forth a message of hope and deliverance to America. Because we do realize this importance, we must develop our best potential to become a valuable tool in this sacred undertaking.
Motivation
Tied in with having a positive attitude is motivation. Within people which are successful is a source of energy that drives their efforts. It keeps them on target, helps them through the tough times and inspires them to achieve bigger and better goals. A person with a positive attitude became an achiever in projects, in goals and in life. The source of energy is motivation. A person who is motivated will always find the needed energy and fortunately it is available to anyone in unending supplies.
Motivation is not limited to famous celebrities, athletes or business people. It can be seen in students who study hard or parents who raise their children well. Having a positive attitude and possessing motivation as a goal setting achiever will not only benefit you, but it will also serve as example and role model for the lifetime benefit of your children. If you can’t be an achiever for yourself, then do it for your children.
Moreover, motivation is not a gift that only a few “chosen ones” are born with. It can be acquired by anyone at any time and even if it’s lost temporarily, it can be regained. In terms of recruiting, there are two aspects of motivation that must be considered: motivating yourself and motivating others. The two are usually related because individuals who are self-
motivated are usually able to easily motivate others.
Motivating Yourself
Did you ever notice how some people always seem to be “up?” When challenges arise,
they meet them head on. If an obstacle blocks their path, they quickly find a way to work through it. They are so busy solving the problem that they don’t have time to get depressed and negative. These people are able to motivate themselves and as a result they are more likely to achieve success than someone who refuses to build their “positive muscle” through daily mental exercises with books and people, all of which will under gird a “winning foundation.”
Here are a few suggestions to follow for self-motivation
I) Identify both long and short term goals that you would like to achieve. Self motivated people are always working toward a goal. It might be a long-term, high impact goal such as finding a place for a rally in your area and then following guidelines and finally having the rally, or a low impact goal such as passing out 10 pieces of literature a week. No matter what it is, self-motivated people are always engaged in a goal-directed activity that brings them closer to success.
2) Know what you should do to reach your goals. Having a goal is simply not enough. Self-motivated people know what is necessary to reach their goals and aren’t willing to give up.
3) Maintaining a high energy level. Because motivating yourself requires energy, you must take steps to build and maintain your energy level. The energy to which we ‘re referring is both mental and physical, so it will be necessary to treat your mind and body well. Physically, you should eat reasonable, get enough sleep and exercise in a manner that’s appropriate for you. Mentally, you should learn to deal with frustrations sensibly and take the time to do the things that renew.
4) Take pleasure in what you accomplish. Highly motivated people enjoy what they do. They like to step back and admire their work. Not in a prideful or boastful way, but to get a feeling of a job well done. A characteristic of self motivated people, then, is that they reward themselves for their accomplishments, but don’t feel superior to others about it.
Self motivation is a state of mind that you must create and nurture. It will require effort on your part, just as a person wanting to create a muscular body needs to work at it – for we all know -it doesn’t just “happen”. But once you become self-motivated, you’ll find that you accomplish more in your life and in your efforts to awaken our people.
Motivating Others
As you recruit others and form a den you should help to motivate them as well.
1) Help them establish long and short term goals. If you use encouraging techniques
to guide others to set their own goals, they will be more receptive than if you try to force decisions upon them.
2) Encourage them to focus their effort on their goals and not to give up.
3) Develop an energizing relationship with them. By remaining upbeat and positive, you can share your energy with other people and get them through difficult times. You should avoid interactions that are emotionally draining. If problems develop, try to resolve them as soon as possible. Communicate your pleasure in what they accomplish. When you recognize the accomplishments of others you help them to continue to strive for success. Your reinforcement makes them feel good and keeps their attitude positive.
4) Work with and not above others. Every one that joins The Knights is a volunteer to service. Do not give orders, volunteers do not have to obey orders and good leaders do not have to give orders.
